Julep Maven Box: June 2013 Classic with a Twist (Starter Box)

Thanks to a recommendation from Kat at Us On Cloud 9, I recently signed up for the Julep Maven Box.

What is Julep?

Julep is a monthly glam box subscription, with a focus on nail polish.

Each month you receive at least two full sized bottles of nail polish, one full-size product of something else (or a third polish) and an extra "gift" (usually a sample of something).

What makes Julep stand out?

Julep gives you choices. You know ahead of time which box you're receiving. If you don't like the box, you can choose a different one or opt of that month altogether.

How much is it?

$19.99 with free shipping to Canada and the US. You receive at least $40 worth of products.

What did I get this month?

In my Classic with a Twist starter box I received two full size nail polishes, a cuticle oil and a sample of hand creme.

How it looked before I opened it
Show me the polish!

 Colour: Kennedy
Thoughts: I found this to be a very "blah" colour. It doesn't suit me at all.

Colour: Lauren
Thoughts: I love it!

What else did I get?

What it is: Julep Essential Cuticle Oil
Thoughts: This is exactly what I need. I was very happy with this.

What it is: Julep Rock Star Hand Creme
Thoughts: It's hand cream. I have enough of that as it is.

Overall, I'm pleased with my first box. We'll see how the next few go!

  1. This box sounds like fun!! I recently cancelled my Birchbox and Ipsy bag just for the fact that I'm moving. I'm sad and can't wait to get back on with the boxes. Maybe this is one I need to add to my monthly subscriptions!

  2. I'm a fan of Julep , they never let fans down . Unless they suck at shipping .

  4. The Lauren polish is so pretty! I've never used cuticle oil, but probably should as I have very dry hands.

  5. i am dying to try some julep polish!

I love comments. Thanks for making me smile!
